LI; To plan and write a Imaginative recount.

Today for writing we had to write a recount about the video we were watching This is what I Would imagine being the boat. Mr Wong made a google doc to write or recounts in the text box. In the recount I talked about the rockets in the war blowing me up and seeing a hole lot of creatures in one place. I also talked about the bad weather I went past and monkeys jumping on me and wrestling. My goal for writing is to become a good writer by the end of the term.

This vs That

LI: To see what you know about.
Today for inquiry we did a activity named This vs That, In this activity we had to put what ever the word on top says on the box so the first thing we had to do is add the Olympics motto and the PBS motto The Olympic motto was citius, altius, fortius and the PBS motto was Strive and achieve. The Next thing I had to add was the Olympic creed and the PBS whakatauki the Olympic creed was The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well and the PBS whakatauki is care for the people care for the land and go forward. the next things we had to do is the Olympic flag and the pbs logo and you would see that in the DLO. The last thing we had to do is to add the Olympic values and the PBS value so the Olympic values is Friendship, Respect and Excellence – along with the four Paralympic values – Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality. The values underpin the Games as a set of universal principles, but they can be applied to education and our lives, as well as to sport itself. The PBS values is confident attitude respect excellent and invasion. My goal for inquiry is to become a successful learner.  

Kiwi Can

This week for kiwi can we played a couple of games but we first had to sit on the mat and listen to what the teacher says the first game we played was tiger low in this game or kiwi can teachers made animal sounds and we had to copy it when he says the animal to us and when he points at us. The Next game we played I had no Idea what's the name of the game but in this game there was two taggers and when the kiwi can teacher claps we had to jump as far as we can. The next thing we did was answer questions we had to line up in four lines and the people in front had to stand up and answer the questions after that we all packed up for the end of kiwi can.

Addition and Subtraction

LI; To add or subtract up or down.
Today for math we did  Addition and Subtraction, Mr Wong made us a google spreed sheet with problems in it we had to answer all of the problems then show Mr Wong  your work and then blog it. some of the problems had the same answers and some was hard to work out fast. I learned a lot of things from this activity I learned my basic facts and solving problems faster. My goal is to learn my twelve time tables thirteen time tables and fourteen time tables by the end of term two.

4 Question type

LI: To understand what the QAR questions means.
This week for reading we had to make a google drawing with the QAR questions in a Text box. Then you have to make questions About the book you read and the question has to relate to the QAR Questions. If you don't know what QAR questions is its 4 types of questions which is Right there,on my own,Think and search,author and me. QAR questions can help you with your reading and answering questions about the book you were reading. My goal for reading is to become a great reader by the end of term 1.

winter Olympics 2018

LI: to test your researching skills.
Today my group made a google drawing in this google drawing we had to answer the questions Mr Ogilvie and Mr Wong wanted us to answer the questions was about the 2018 Winter Olympics . or Teachers came up with very hard questions but we mange to answer them all the first question they asked us is to Provide a map where it is, we mange to find a map of south Korea and PyeongChang if you didn't know about it South Korea is where the winter Olympics is happening and  PyeongChang is where its happening. or second question was how far is new Zealand from south Korea or answer was 9551.31 km far. The 3rd 4th and 5th question will be on the DLO. 

General Knowledge

LI: to make connections with the world around us.
today I was doing General Knowledge in this we had to pick a country I picked Turkey basically we had to answer the questions Mr Wong wrote for us so in the slide some are not finish cause we won't suppose to do that work yet but if you go to the slide visiting below it is were I wrote all my work at.

LI:To write a 3 point summary about the book you were reading.
Today for reading we had to make a Three point summary about the book I was reading. we were reading about Niuean sports, there was a lot of interesting Niuean sports some sports are like the sports in the Olympics.

Today I was commenting on Fanini Blog I comment on his kiwi can blog post and asked him what did he learn at kiwi can but he did a amazing Job on his kiwi can blog post and I hope he keeps up the great work.

kiwi Sport

This term for kiwi sport is softball. The first activity we did was practicing how to catch and throw in softball after that activity we did a challenge we had to throw the ball at your buddy and your buddy has to catch it if you and your buddy drops the ball you have to sit down cause your out of the challenge. after that we had to do something called grown ball basically in this activity we had to roll the ball on the floor to your partner. it's the same as bowling but after that we played air ball in this activity your partner had to throw the ball at you and you have to catch it with two hands after that or kiwi sport teacher asked us questions and then we all packed up and went back to class to blog about or kiwi sport.

5 sentences recount

Li; To know how to write a 5 sentences recount
Today for writing we did 5 sentences recount. we had to make a google doc and make a table what we had to write is a 5 sentences recount and explain what Mr Wong and ls1 did out side in a 5 sentences recount.

add and subtraction

LI: Today I learned how to add and subtraction.

Today I was doing add and subtraction in this activity we had to roll two dices The number that shows up we had to add or takeaway that number we had to keep doing that until you hit 20 of those takeaway and subtraction if you wanna hit 20 you will be in level one if you hit 50 of those add and subtraction you would be a level 2 if you hit 100 you would be a level 3. My goal by the end of this term is to be level 3 on addition and subtraction.

kiwi can

Today at kiwi can or topic was positive relationship the first game we played was freeze tag in freeze tag we had to walk fast without making noises But there was two taggers they had to tag us after that we had to sit on the mat in a circle and explain what the rules was after that we played human bowling we mange to get one point and the other team mange to get one point to so it was a draw after that game we had to get back into our 4 lines then miss lily Mr Matt and Mr Wong will ask us questions the first questions they asked was how many stars are on the american flag one of my team mates said 50 and it was right then or second question was why does the American flag has 50 stars I said it is how much president in america but I was wrong then the same team mate that answer the first question said it was how much states in america and he was right I was quite surprised then kiwi can finished so we had to come back to class and post a blog about kiwi can it was a fun day and we all enjoyed it.

Today we had to Attribution Images that is not yours we had to write the creators name and link to there page of there photos. then we had to do the license then we had to add the link of the license website. so remember to Attribution Image. 

Summer Learning Journey

What we had to do: On your blog tell us whether you would like to be in a Waka Ama race one day. Why or why not?


To me I would never go on a waka ama race because I don't even know how to control a waka maybe when I grow up I will learn how to control one and be in a waka ama race. I've seen people in new zealand talk about it and some people on TV. I watch a lot of videos about it on YouTube and experience the view of being in the waka ama race.

On this blogpost I was supposed to write something about how I would feel if I was Traveling to find contrys like new zealand.



If I was on Board on one waka it would give me goose bumps because its scary how you dont know whats gonna happen cause a lot of things might happen at night and the morning. if I got on board on a waka to find a other contry I would be Nervous and Afraid or I would Never go on one I would just stick to the same old contry. if we had to vote who would be the next prime minster/president I'm Never choosing Donald trump hope I dont get hate. if I found a contry I would call it The fetherlands.
