T1W10 Prioritising and Collaborating

LI: to priorities tasks and collaborate to complete a job on time.

This week for cyber-smart we were doing some research on Doraemon.  We first had to make a google slide then do some research about Doreamon, when we found facts about Doreamon we had to write it on a google slide with your own words. We also had to copy the questions on the write board and answer them.

Ls1 Olympics

On Thursday we had our LS1 Olympics. So we first started with a activity named stack attack we had to pick a person to play that activity and we picked sione T,We mange to come 3rd place on stack attack thanks to sione T. The person that was first place was sione T's sister, The next activity was a bit Dicey the person in my team that did that was Hosea he mange to put five on the stick but he drooped all the dices. The next activity was Back flip I was doing the activity and mange to get six but I was last. The next activity was this blows Lorenzo did the activity. He mange to get first place and a gold medal. The next activity was floatacous and I did the activity. It was hard because the water was moving a lot. The last activity was ready spaghetti it was for two people to do and it was Lorenzo and Hosea. They mange to get one can on the other table but the still didn't win. 

Recount/Zombies

LI: to write a recount using the skills learnt this term.

This week for writing we had to write a recount. Our topic was the game Mr Wong taught us in LS1 which was called zombies. When we came back from the public field we had to answer the questions Mr Wong asked us to answer. So after Mr Wong asked us those questions we had to write a recount about what we did on the public field which was playing the game zombies.

Subtraction straction

LI: to subtract using three different subtraction strategies.
This week for Maths we had to answer all the questions Mr Wong told us to do I mange to answer all of the questions and finish them off, It was hard recording because sometimes my camera glitched but I mange to finish them all. I would say the easy question was question number one and the hardest was number six.

Commonwealth games Poster/ (SSKS)

   LI: To make a poster about the commonwealth games.

This week for inquiry we had to make a poster about the commonwealth games. Mr Wong and Mr Ogilvie asked questions on our slide and we had to answer them on a poster about the common wealth games. In question number six Mr wong and Mr ogilvie told us to find three NZ medalist with there time and distance of winning. We picked Sophie Pascoe,Sam Webster and Ethan Mitchell. If you look at the picture at the bottom They are the people we picked. We also put the stadium photo on there.

Making Conections

LI: To make connections to a text.

This week for reading we were learning a strategy named making connections. We learned about text to text which means a text that similar to a other text and we learned about text to world and text to self. if you didn't know what text to world and text to self is basically text to world is something that similar in a story to the real world and text to self is a text that connects to your life.   

Homophones

LI: To identify the differences in meaning between common homophones.
Today for writing we were doing Homophones, if you didn't know what homophones is it's words that sound the same but with a different meaning. So if you see the second slide Mr Wong created it for a example of what to do. the rest of the work was by me. before writing I didn't know what Homophones are but now I know the meaning. So I hope you guys learned a lot about Homo phones from my blog post thank you.

Care Values

LI: to compare Smart Values with the Panmure Bridge School CARE values.

This week for cybersmart we had to compare panmure bridge care values with the manaiakalani care values. Panmure bridge's school values is Confidence Attitude Respect and Excellence and Innovation. If you Didn't know what manaiakalani festival is it's a festival that happaned every year. what we do is make movies including our whole class and we will go to a theatre and see other school's movies and other classes movie's.

LI: To understand what leader ship means

Today for kiwi can our topic was Leadership.We started by getting into four lines I was in line number two. So we first we played a game named create me in this game the kiwi can teachers will say a word and you have to create it. We were about to play a game named stuck in the mud but it rained so in stuck in the mud there would be two taggers when the tagger says your name you have to run past them but if you get tag you have to stand still and tag the other people runing. Then we went back and our kiwi can teachers said we could play GKQ but we all disagreed and said we wanted to play bang in bang there would be one person in the middle that person has to say one person's name and the person who's name was called out had to bend down and the two people beside them will try and shoot each other if you don't bend down in time you're Eliminated.

LI: To Know how to pitch and bat in softball

Today for softball each of us had to find a partner my partner was Juel. So after that we had to put each other as numbers I was Number 1 and his number 2 so we had to spilt team I was in team number 1 and he was in team number 2. When it was my turn to bat my partner was the person who's suppose to pitch. Then we played a other game but in this game you throw the ball far and see how much home runs you can make by the time your pitcher gets all 3 balls. Then we had to pack up our stuff and go back to class and blog or kiwi sport.

Team Whakatauki

LI: To make your own Whakatauki.

Our Whakatauki is “Think Ahead Think fast and make it happen”. The meaning of our Whakatauki is to try and think of a strategy before playing the challenge and our motto is “ Think Before you

play”. We Picked that as our motto because some of our teammates think of a strategy before they play but it sometimes doesn’t make a difference. Our group enjoy challenges because we get to experience new things. I learn that you can just fail and fail until you understand the way to play the games.
