Kiwi Can

This week for Kiwi can we learned about positive conversation it was also our last week with this topic and then we have a new one next week so we first started by getting welcomed into there class then we started to play a game so in this game we had get into teams but we got into five teams cause there was to much people so in the game one person from each team stands up and walks into the middle and holds a hula hop then once they start we had to pull the hula hop and try to touch our cones the team with the most score wins. Then we started talking about what we should say to people that is positive not mean or anything. Then we started talking about positive conversations. Then after that we played our last game of the day and we had to get into two teams and one team is attacking and one is defending to decide that we played rock paper scissors then after that the attacking team has to throw or kick the ball and if the defenses team catches it your out but if they front then they have to hit you with the ball if you make it to the end and your other teammate kicks the ball then you can run back.

This week for Kiwi can our topic was respect for the community. Before we got to kiwi can we walked from our class to room seven then once we got there we had to make four lines each of them had to be even lines. Then we were told that we had a new topic and it was respect for our community. After that we played a game the game name was called " Catch me if you can" in the game we had to get into a circle we had to but our left hand flat and then the person on your left hand will put his finger in the middle of your left hand then the person on your right will put his hand flat and you had to put your finger in the middle then once our teacher said go we had to try and escape and catch someone finger I lost on the second round. Then we sat back into our four lines and talked about Respect to our community after that we played another game an it was called ten second tag in the game if your name was called then you are the tagger if you are the tagger for ten seconds then your out of the game. The game was fun because it included fitness and thinking about where your going. Then we had to pack up and go back to class.

LI: To learn how to show respect.

This week for kiwi can we were learning how to show respect. So we first started by lining up in two lines and walking to room seven which was were Kiwi can is set up at then we got into four teams I was in team four. Then we Played our activities and it was called sensitive Race in the game we had to stand in a circle and when your number gets called you have to run in a circle back to your spot and get the ball in the middle before anyone. This task was kinda hard for me cause I didn't really have that much speed well it was very fun though. Then we got back into our four lines then we had to talk our rules. We talked about not having to wear uniforms I think its better to wear uniform because you can introduce your school. Then we played our last game and the name of it was master in the game we get a paper and a pen an once our teacher says a letter then we had to name stuff that starts with that letter. Then we got to doing our points after that we went back to class.

This week for Kiwi Can we first started off by remembering what the themes and topics we did in the past weeks. So after that we got straight into our game and in the game there would be a tagger and the tagger has to tag someone once he tags someone he has to hold hand with them and if they get separated then they can't tag any one. It was very hard because the group sometimes will come and choose you to get tag and use you as a target. After that we talked about what we did in the game the teachers told us that the girls were doing better then the boys. After that we played our last game and in the game there would be two teams and we had to get into one. after that the teachers would say a number and the people who was that number had to run and try and get to the other side with the rugby ball and without getting taged.

LI: To Know how to solve your problems and show resilience. 

This week for kiwi can we had a new topic and that was problem solving. Problem solving is when your doing something you always have a problem with but a few seconds later you solve it.  So we first started by getting welcome respectable by our Kiwi can teachers then we had to sit in the matt in a circle with or eyes facing the kiwi can teachers and we also had to cross or legs and arms. After we talked about our new topic we got to play a game. In the game that we played we had to get into squads and then tangle or arms up and we had to try and make a proper circle it was fun but we cam last at least we tried. Then we sat on the mat and started talking about resilience. After our conversation we played another game that named matt doge ball in the game or teachers will give us a number and when ever they say that number we have to get into the middle and the people that siting has to try and hit us with the ball by Rowling it. Then we played our last game which was QKQ in the game or kiwi can teachers will ask us questions and we had to try and get them right the questions was hard and easy at the same time we were this respectful but we hope we show my respect next week.

This week for kiwi can we started off by leaning up in five lines. Then we played a game in this game there are two people the have a noddle and the have to hit the class with it when our teachers say shark attack. Then we sat on the mat and listen to what our teacher said. Then we played our activity in this activity there would be two teams one is the girls team and one is the boys team when our teachers call out a number the person that was that number has to go and hit the ball into the other teams goal. Then we played GKQ after that we got into points this week was group B's most successful week because we earn five out of five on everything that means our class was listening well.

This week for kiwi can we first started by playing a game. I forgot the game name so I just call it a unknown name. In this game we had to get into groups then our kiwi can teacher wrote on the board what each letter or number on the cards mean. So after we get into groups we had to pick a leader and the leader has to go to the teacher and grab a card after you grab a card you have to look at the card and the what ever it says we have to do. Then we played a other game in this game we had to get into partners and our kiwi can teacher would say a fruit but before we started she told us what the fruit action is and we had to do it with our partner.

Topic: Role models

Theme: Integrity

This week for kiwi can our topic was role model. In Kiwi can we first got welcomed into the class by our kiwi can teachers then we talked about our theme which is integrity. After that we played a warm up game named cat and mouse in this game there would be a cat and mouse the cat has to chance after the mouse and the mouse had to run away from the cat the other people had to go into vertical lines and then the others had to hold hand and the cat and mouse had to go under there hands. Our kiwi can teacher tell us which way to face and we had to face the way he told us to face at. Then we sat on the mat and talked about our topic which is role models. Then we played a game named catwalk in this game we had to spreed into teams. It was boys vs girls I versed sione and we both had to act like mr bean first but we didn't agree with it so we chose a other role model and it was Micheal Jackson. As you can see in the photo I was wearing a hat and dancing on the catwalk.

This week for kiwi can we started off by playing bang. In this game there was a person in the middle and they have to say a name of a person so when they say a name of a person the person that got his named called out had to bend down and the two people beside the person had to shoot each other and see who wins. The next game we played had a unknown name. In the game our kiwi can teacher told us each fruit he says is a action but first he taught us what action we do for the fruit so when we play we had to do the actions. Then we played our last game and it was GKQ in this game a person had to walk around the circle and answer the questions the teachers tell you if the person your versing wins you have to sit at the place there at. Then we did scores our total was twenty two.

Today for kiwi can we first did a warm up game the game had a unknown name. So in the game you had to pass the ball around the last person with the number 21 is out I mange to make it to top ten but the game ended. The next activity we did was a type of emotional game. In the game the people in front of the line had to stand up and don't look at the white board because our kiwi can teachers will write the emotion on the write board so the people on the mat had to act it and try and make the person standing up guess the answer right. Then we did GKQ, in GKQ we had to stand up in our line and the answer the question the kiwi can teachers ask us, The question they ask us was what sport does all blacks play and I answered and said "Rugby", Then we had to leave kiwi can and come to class and blog about kiwi can
