Maths//Fraction Problems

LI: To share fraction problems with others.
This week for maths we were learning about fraction the first thing we did was sit on the floor then Mr Ogilvie said to get into groups I was with Andrew and Xavier. Then we played A little game and in the game we had to make our own fraction problem after that we had to create a google slide as a group with a fraction problem I was doing thirds Andrew was doing fifths and Xavier was doing fourths. I used blocks to do my problem.

Maths Animation

LI:find fractions of whole number amounts using multiplication and division.

This week for maths we had to create a google slide with a maths animation. So we first had to think of a fraction my fraction was two thirds. Then we had to times it with a number I did ten so the fraction and the number was two thirds times ten. I had to colour in two boxes in a box red then I had to add the coloured boxes together. Then my answer was 6 2/3 the reason why that my answer is because one box in a box had nothing in it so it won't be a one number answer.

This week for maths we were learning about fractions. We learn about two maths words numerator and denominator. A numerator is a number a denominator is dividing. So in this maths task we had to do what the text on the google draw tells us to do so we had to pick a fraction I picked five tenth. Then you had to write a story about the fraction after you have write the story you had to show the fraction after that you make the fraction with the equipment and lastly we had to write other names of the fractions.
