Off the Menu//Summer Learning Journey
So for this task they was a history about new Zealand and most people caught to many fish so now if people are caught fishing in the restricted areas then they would be fined one hundred thousand dollars. So we had to decide if it's fair or not. I think it is fair because fishing is ok but if you over fish then you would have no more fish to get.

Kia Ora Viliami,
ReplyDeleteLee here from SLJ. I like the thinking you have done here! Sounds like you have really considered it.
There definitely needs to be something in place so that people don't over-fish, since like you say there will be nothing left otherwise. I think the large fine would mainly put people off.
Have you been fishing? Personally, I like fishing but I never catch anything - so the fish are safe with me.
I hope to read more of your great work!

Hello Viliami! I find it unsettling that the fine is $100,000. My mind can't settle on one choice for this topic though. The amount of money to pay is huge but keeping the fish safe is very important. If you could change the amount of money, would you bring it up or down? Keep it up!
