Care Values

 Today Alex,Marieta,Sakina,Joel and I worked together to create a DLO on our school's CARE Values. In it we needed to include how we could show the values and what they mean, an additional task was to brainstorm how we could use pictures to show what the values would look like. For the confidence value we chose to have someone standing up and pretending to present their work which would take confidence and for other values we had raising one's hand to answer a question, picking up rubbish around the school and completing a set task.

Film Festival Trip

LI: To explain what we did at the film festival. 

On Wednesday afternoon the thirteen Manaiakalani schools went to a movie theatre to watch the movies made by their schools and other schools. So the school first had to get on a bus then there gonna ride on the bus until there at the destination. Once we get there we walked to the movie theatre we walked into the place where we were about to watch the movies at but we first waited until the schools came. Once every school arrived we started to watch the movies.

Next after they explained the history of the film festival the movies started to play but before every movie started to play there would be people that are apart of it explaining what did like describing it. After that the movie played our movie came up first, Our movie was about our mini Olympics. It was about a game that two groups of girls fought one of the group of girls won and the losing team said that they cheated then the wining team mocked them back then one of the members of the losing team kicked them on to the floor then the winning team stood up and fought but the get destroyed again then they remembered about the teachers lessons. After our movies finished more and more movies came up that were very interesting and funny. Then once we finish we went on the bus back to school.

LI: To write a comment about the film festival we contend at.

On Wednesday afternoon schools that are apart of the Manaiakalani gathered up to watch a school made movies by teachers. The event took place at sliver park in the movie theatre. There were about thirty movies made by schools and it was very interesting and funny.  So I commented on room twenty ones blogger from Point England school. I my self personal liked room twenty ones movie because its shows that people from that school are confident enough to dance in front of thirteen wholes schools. I think the event was great for the schools because the Manaiakalani school got to gather up and watch movies from other schools. I have and question for all the schools that came up with movies. How did you think of the movie Idea?.

Duffy Guest

LI: To Write a blog post about Duffy.

Today we were suppose to do a blog post about Duffy assemble. The guest that came to our school was Tayla and Matt Johnson. Matt's goal was to become a PE teacher and tayla's goal is to granulate university. Tayla told us all the things she been though in her life but the first thing she told us is that she used to be a bmx rider she told us that she was playing outside with her family then she went to her grandpas shed and saw trophies and a photo of her mum on the new's letter so she reading the new's letter and heard that her mum was a bmx champion so she wanted to become one to. Matt wanted to be a PE teacher and help people win there games and teach them some sports. after that tayla came to or class room to handout or books but we first played some Olympics games. when Tayla was gonna go she answered all or questions and one question was what other sport does Matt Johnson play and tayla said softball cause Matt played rugby for the blues and used to play softball for new zealand.
