Maths Animation

LI:find fractions of whole number amounts using multiplication and division.

This week for maths we had to create a google slide with a maths animation. So we first had to think of a fraction my fraction was two thirds. Then we had to times it with a number I did ten so the fraction and the number was two thirds times ten. I had to colour in two boxes in a box red then I had to add the coloured boxes together. Then my answer was 6 2/3 the reason why that my answer is because one box in a box had nothing in it so it won't be a one number answer.

Drama Planning

LI: To plan a narrative.
This week for writing we first started by planing our narrative with your group then we had two make a copy of the google drawing Mr Ogilve gave two us and plan how our story is gonna be like but the problem and the restitution in the story has two be the same as the problem and restitution we thought as in a group.

Visualisation

LI: to visualise and question scenes in a book.

This week for reading we learned about Visualisation Mr Wong first told us what it means then made a google document so we can do what it says on the document. We first had to find a book then read the book after that we had to take one sense out of the book and put it on the google document. We had to write what number page was the sense on and then we had to draw on a piece of paper how the sense is described as then lastly we had to put the title of the book on the google document but we had to do to books.

Kiwi can

This week was the first week of kiwi can in term three. We first started by telling our kiwi can teachers what we did in the holidays I went to a place in new Zealand that I don't know how to spell. Then after that we did our energiser the game we did for our energiser was called order up in the game we had to listen to what the teachers say and get in that order but the rule was to be quite then we talked about our goals some people in my class had a goal to be a fortnite dance master and our teachers let them do a fortnite dance. My goal was to become and comedian which I wanted to be when I was a kid I hope it becomes true. So after that we did our activity the activity was called up and down. In the game we first had to get into teams I was in team one. Then after we had to get into teams we had to set up goals but it has to be a number above one hundred and less then One thousand my teams number was five hundred and the other teams number was eight hundred so in the game we had to throw a hoop and land it inside the cone. Then after that we had to get back into a line and play GKQ in the game our teachers will tell us questions and we had to answer them but we had to make a buzzer sound. It was very fun and thanks to kiwi can for teaching us to not bully and be mean.

Quiz

At the beginning of term two we learn about MRS Gren then on week two we had to get into groups and name our group our group name was the cobras. On week three we learned about the nervous system. On week four we learned about the digestive system and had to do tasks. On week five we did sensitivity it was very hard because we didn't understand it very well. On week six we learned about the Respiratory system which is how the air go's into the body. on week seven we did the Circulatory system and learned what it does. On week eight we did the animals circulatory system. On week nine we had to make a speech about MRS GREN and say it in front of the whole class. Lastly this week we did the quiz, In the quiz there are three things we had to do and it was to draw, Do a Sculpture and answer questions if we get the most points we basically win the quiz and know more about the systems, We can make questions that your group all ready knows about and put it into the quiz but you have to pay five credits to our teachers. My team came third place in the quiz. In each activity we did there was a timer but on the question one there was no timer.

ASB Getwise

This week we had ASB Getwise we first started by welcoming our ASB Getwise teacher named Jayden he first wrote on the board Cash Coals. For Cash the C stand for Clear and he told us to make sure what ever your buying is worth it or it fit's you then we did the a and that was Action. He told us that if you do gardening or mowing the lawn for someone else you will earn money. Then we did the S and that was save Jayden told us to always save your money. Then the H was How long Jayden told us that you have to know how long your gonna own somthing. He told us some jokes and it was very funny.

Narrative

LI: To plan and Create a Narrative.

This week for writing we first started by planing a Narrative we had to use the charters and the setting from last week and make Narrative with the charters apart of the story. Then when we showed our plan to Mr Ogilvie we had to create a google document and write the Narrative on it and talk about the events that happened and how the story gets solved.

Matariki Celebration

This week on Wednesday we had a matariki celebration. We first celebrated with Ls2 then we went to the juniors area and watched people do the performance. The performance started by the kapa haka group perfroming then it was the juniors kapa haka performance after that the drummers showed there talent then it was the people with the ukuleles to perform and the sound of the ukuleles sounded beautiful lastly it was pacifica they performed there dance they have been practising it it was funny and amazing at the same time. Then we got to get a sausage sizzle for free because how respectful we were being to the performers.    

Quiz/Man and Sea

This week for reading we were reading a book named man and sea when we finished reading the book we had to create a quiz for other people to play it and know more about the story my quiz was very hard but if you read the book you will understand my questions.

MnM Fractions

LI: To understand corresponding fraction, decimals and percentages.

This week for maths we did MnM Fractions we had to make a copy of the DLO Mr Ogilvie shared to us

but before we did that we got handed out MnM packets and we had to work with a partner I was working

with Andrew and we had to put the colours of the MnM separated to each other and then we had to do the

task on the DLO.

LI: To share the world facts about Matariki.

Today Ls1 and Ls2 Celebrated and worked together by making a DLO about Matariki. I was working with Josh, Xavier and Carl on the DLO we first started by watching a video to find facts about Matariki. Today for Lunch time we get to get free lunch from our maori teacher because we are celebrating Matariki. If you didn't know what Matariki means it means eye of the god There are seven stars of Matariki and you will see the names in the DLO. I hope you people learned about a fact about Matariki.
