Kiwi Sport//Swiming

LI: To learn water safety.
This week for kiwi sport we did swimming. So we first started by getting on the bus to the destination where the swimming pools was at. Then when we got inside we greeted the people that welcomed us into the swimming pool after that we change into our swimming cloths and went to our teachers. But first we learned what to do when someone is droning the teachers told us if someone is drowning go with anything that can float on the water and throw it to them so they can float and swim back to the land. So after that our teachers told us to get into the swimming pool. Then he taught us this skill and that was to float on your back and use your hands to like pull your self to the end of the pool. Then we learned a different skill and that was to swim on your tummy and kick six time then swim on your back and kick six times and do it over and over again. After that we tired that skill again to see if we can do it and we did. Lastly we learned how to doge a wave and the swimming said that if a way is coming up high dive under it. That was one of the most careful lesson because if your in a beach and a big wave is about to hit you you might drown but you can just swim under it. Then we went to change and got on the bus and got back to school and blogged about the kiwi sport.
